About the facility
Salas "Tošina house" is located in the village Jarak in Srem, near Sremska Mitrovica, on midway between Novi Sad and Belgrade. This family estate, which covers 5600m2 is managed by the family Šestanović and Petrović more than a decade. The farm house is over 200 years old and everything is subordinated to tradition: the guests are welcomed with a round loaf of bread, salt, homemade brandy, tambourine and have the opportunity to learn about the traditional way of life of Srem, to taste the specialties of this region and to buy some of the unique and hand-made souvenirs. Guests can actively participate in village activities: brandy, mowing, get acquainted with domestic animals, most notably the donkey and pigs Mangulica. The property is located 200 meters from the Sava River, which leads to nice path. Salas has no fixed working hours, but the visit to announce in advance.
