Former winery at Malča, Status bought six years ago, completely rebuilt, with the help of the Secretariat of State for Tourism of the Ministry of Finance, four buildings renovated in the "house wine".
Wine basement Malča, capacity of about 50,000 liters of production and aging of wines of the highest quality, situated about five kilometers from Niš. Wines at Malča:
"Konstantin Veliki" a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, characterized by the richness and harmony of taste and smell. Aged in barrique barrels Serbian oak, which gives it an intense dark red color, dense texture, and notes of vanilla and dark chocolate.
"Villa Naissa" (protectors of growers who were captured during the Turkish rule) is harmonious and fresh wine made from Italian grape varieties Riesling aged in stainless steel vessels and thus retains all the varietal characteristics. Typical is a greenish-yellow color, fruity aroma, pleasant acid.
At the wine cellar at Malča, which has about 3,500 m2, at the first time in our region, the wine is stored eight months in amphorae underground. Those amphorae are bought in Georgia, and they are made specifically for this purpose. After that, the wine is transferred into special barrels. Nectar from amphorae considered "exclusive drink" and liter normally costs around 25-30 euros. Wines from Malča you can not buy on the free market, they are wines made especially for visitors of the "Wine Village".
