About the facility
"Mitrovo polje" at 700 meters above sea level, squeezed between mountain Goč and Željina. Away from Belgrade, 250 kilometers, and 25 kilometers from the Vrnjačka Spa, Aleksandrovac and Brus, next to rivers Rasina and Zagrža, with moderate mountain climate, "Mitrovo polje" is one of the remarkable mountain landscape recreative suitable for tourism, sports training, rest and recovery, winter and summer children and adults, the performance of the school program. Excellent accommodation facilities are linked to the resort "Crveni krst" with 100 beds in double, triple and six-bed rooms. Each room has a bathroom and are equipped with televisions, and the building has central heating, a kitchen area with a restaurant, a hall for seminars and conferences, and classrooms equipped with teaching tools and audio visual source for performing recreational classes. In the resorts there are facilities for sports, three courts for beach volleyball and swimming. The pool is filled with natural hot water of 25 degrees and mineral composition comes from wells 240 meters deep. Water has a beneficial effect on health and plays an important biological function. At July of 2007. a volleyball camp "Mitrovo polje" began with work, which brought together hundreds of boys and girls from Kraljevo and Aleksandrovac city with a desire to promote and popularize volleyball and a healthy lifestyle. Working with children aged 10 to 16 years and for the past six years through camp has passed nearly 700 boys and girls, volleyball future national team players. The camp includes indoor facilities: classrooms and a gym. Also includes open objects: swimming pool, one court for basketball and volleyball, a field for football and handball, for runway aligning, which is also used for other sports, heliport, which is located above the small sports terrain, roads in the center, parking is outside the NC, warehouse equipment, devices, materials, storage of liquids (stable and mobile).
