About the facility
Hotel Yugoslavia is situated on the banks of the Danube river with a view on the Great War Island and Kalemegdan fortress. Opened in 1969, represents a distinctive architectural expression of the ideological, aesthetic and functional plans that have formed the basis of building at socialist society of Yugoslavia. It is one of the largest facilities of hotel-office complex in Serbia. The complex includes hotel, commercial and retail facilities, five restaurants, fast food, restaurant and conference rooms with capacity up to 700 seats. In the central hall dominated one of the largest crystal chandeliers in the world, weighing 14 tons with 5,000 lighting places. The hotel was renovated and reopened in December 2013. Hotel offers the following accommodation: Double rooms with double bed or two single beds (21m2). Triple rooms (three beds) (40m2). Quadruple (family) room (40m2) which include two separate bedrooms (one with two beds 200x90, one with one 200x160), bathroom and separate toilet. Junior suites (40m2), containing a living room with two beds or one large, bedroom, bathroom, a small bathroom. Great apartment Yugoslavia (160m2), which contains a living room, 3 bedrooms (6 beds) and 3 bathrooms. Each room has its benefit and a terrace with a view. Rooms and public spaces of the hotel are non-smoking and the hotel reception is at your service 24 hours. This hotel visited by many statesmen and celebrities such as Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Queen Elizabeth II, Willy Brandt, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, Tina Turner... Besides accommodation the hotel also has the following benefits: Restaurants: Inter Galactic Diner (American "diner" restaurant with its burgers, friendly atmosphere and good music, open 24 hours); Zapata Rio Mexican Restaurant, open 9-24h; Etna Italian Restaurant, Sugar&Spice which offer all kinds of pancakes; Gardening "Kod Juge", large capacity of over 2,000 people with good music quality and selection of food and drinks, where in summer comes the most famous stars of popular music from the region (open during the summer season). The hotel also includes the congress hall of 150m2, 200m2 and 700m2 banquet hall (with the possibility of division into multiple segments).
