About the facility
Dida Hornjakov farm dates back to 1901 yr., owned by the family of Hornjak from 1925. The Farm consists of several buildings: the main building which presents furniture from the early-20th century and costumes of Bunjevac people, old barn, converted into showroom and atelier of old and artistic crafts, and workshops for children. In the studio there are the following crafts: silk painting, white and colorful ties, woodcarving and pepper tiles, creating images of straw weaving products. Working with children in the children's workshop is a compulsory program of children's excursions and all that make children take home as a souvenir. Between the main house and the studio is located a summer kitchen, "pedlar" open to public inspection. As far as the accommodation capacities, Dida Hornjakov farm has two double and one triple room, categorized with four stars. The rooms are equipped with bathroom, TV, hairdryer and wireless Internet. On the farm there is a catering and dining hall has 50 seats. The food is prepared in the traditional way of naturally grown foods on the menu are dishes of Backa cuisine. In addition to overnight stays at the farm are possible daily visitors, is possible to organize small celebrations or children's excursions. The Farm is closed, and is necessary to announce the visit.
