Čokot Basement was established in 2011th year. Located in the village Starci 6 km from Aleksandrovac. Basement has a small capacity, and can produce 8,000 liters of wine per year. It has about 2ha of vineyards that grow only indigenous grape varieties: Prokupac and Tamjanika. Vineyard is on an official meadow Župa, which is characterized in that it is located at an altitude of about 600m. The goal of the basement is to produce small amounts of top-quality wines from its own vineyards. For now, the basement Čokot is ready for the market with three labels which we will briefly present.
Experiment Prokupac - the wine produced from grape varieties Prokupac. It is characterized by intense red color, harmonious and subtable spicy scent that is infused with fragrant tones of oak wine with good body. It goes well with red meats and spicy dishes.
Experiment PS is a pink wine made from grapes Prokupac and Smederevka. There is a striking open - red color, very smooth, with aromas of field flowers and berries, fresh, airy, with strong acids. Goes well with salads, white meats and lighter meals.
Experiment Tamjanika is white muscadine wine made from the same grape variety. Muscat wine with an intense odor, greenish-yellow color, fresh, airy, well-balanced acids. It can be served with lamb, red meat, salad...
