Hotel “Srbija” was opened in 1983. It is situated in the city centre of Vrsac. Since 2008. it is part of the Spanish hotel group “EIX Hotels” from Mallorca. Hotel “Srbija” is officially rated as three-star hotel. Hotel “Srbija” has 78 rooms, of which 8 are suites. All rooms are furnished with all the essential modern amenities. Each room provides: free wireless internet, LCD TV, direct phone line, air condition, mini bar, safe, bathroom with bathtub or shower and hair dryer. Hotel also has rooms that are wheelchair accessible. Bishop’s Palace from 18 century, City hall from 18 century, Roman-catholic Church St Gerhard from 1863, Orthodox Church St Nikolaj from 1785, museums (Konkordia, Pharmacy on stairs) etc. You should also visit the famous theatre “Sterija”. It is nice to visit Vrsac during festivals, such as: Wine fest “Grozdjebal”, The Wreath of Vrsac – an international folk festival, Memorial days of Vasko Popa, Colony painting – Paja Jovanovic, Chess tournament Bora Kostic, Bike race – Balkan Championship, Autumn in Gudurica and Vinofest.
