During winter, guests can ski on the ski trails that are located next to the hotel "Beli bor", at an altitude of 1,000 meters. There are two ski lifts, one for children and beginners 150 meters long, and another for recreational skiers, 450 meters long.

Tara National Park covers area of 19,750 hectares. Tara is characterized by diverse plant life, of which Picea spruce, which can only be found here, stands out. The diversity of habitats and preservation of vegetation enable survival of many animal species such as brown bear, chamois, a wood-grouse, golden eagle and others.

Forests, canyons and rivers have traces of prehistoric, ancient, Roman, and Byzantine cultures. A few kilometers from Mitrovac to the south is Lake Zaovine, a real pearl of Tara. Created by Perucac damm of the hydroelectric power station, it attracts more and more people who want to swim and fish. The lake improved our mountain Tara, and there is a new quality in terms of tourism.

Drina and lake Perucac are aboundant with all kinds of fish, especially trophy specimens of sprouts and catfish. In the summer season beaches on the lake, boats for trips and outdoor swimming pools are available for tourists.
